I found Ceaco puzzles to be a great, budget-friendly choice. The best part is the random cut, which provides an extra level of challenge compared to the standard grid cut, as the pieces are irregular and unpredictable. The interlock is good, and most pieces stay together when lifted.
The pieces are a bit thinner than average, at 1.5 mm, so they are relatively sturdy but some pieces do peel a bit or come stuck together, which requires careful un-sticking (keep a glue stick nearby for quick repairs!). The included reference poster is larger than average, which is always a helpful addition.
