The pieces are larger, around the 1″ x 2″ range and are super easy to handle... the randomness in their piece shapes can be diabolical!
I found the EZ-Grip pieces to be a huge benefit; their larger size makes them incredibly easy to manipulate, which is great for all ages. However, despite the comfortable pieces, the puzzle still offers a serious challenge due to the random cut style. The irregular shapes can be “diabolical” to figure out, living up to the company name!
The puzzle is made with an environmental focus, using recycled board and soy-based inks, and produces low dust. While the interlock is quite good, the assembled sections don’t hold well enough to be moved or lifted frequently, so I recommend having flat trays to shift sections around.
A major note for planning: the larger piece size results in a final puzzle that is much larger than normal (30” x 27” for 1000 pieces), so be sure it will fit on your puzzling surface!
