✋ Hands On Experience
The linen finish weighs heavily in my choice—puzzle glare is the worst! I love the challenge of the random cut pieces; sometimes you think you’re looking for one piece only to find out it’s actually two or three pieces.
Cobble Hill Puzzles is in the top 10 of my favorite puzzle brands! The Matte Linen finish truly is a game-changer, eliminating glare completely and lending a luxurious texture to the pieces.
I love the challenge of the random cut pieces; this unique cut style means the pieces vary widely in shape and size, adding an extra layer of difficulty by eliminating the grid pattern.
The pieces are sturdy at 2.0 mm thick. While the fit is good, the pieces are not snug enough to lift the entirety of a section or the whole puzzle. If you like doing puzzles in sub-sections, you’ll want to have a tray handy to move sections to your puzzle board or working area. The reference poster is also excellent, made from the same linen paper, and helpful when you get stuck at a tricky spot.
